Using this site
3 Column/2 Column
The third column, visible on a lot of the pages on this site, enables most of the great functionality which makes this site more functional, usable, and easier to cross-reference than even a printed version. However, on some pages, there is simply too much content to be fitted into the central column to allow the third column, and in this case, you will find that the links at the top right of the window take you to a new page rather than simply displaying on the right hand side.
Navigation
This report has four main levels of navigation.
- Contents list – on the left-hand side of the screen. This indicates where you are at all times by highlighting relevant content.
- Page by page – at the bottom of each page there is a ‘Next’ and ‘Back’ option that will move you one page at a time.
- Breadcrumb trail – at the top of the screen. This shows you where you are and which section the page sits within.
Links
You will find four types of hyperlinks in the report.
- Extracts – those accompanied by this icon will allow you to open additional content on the same screen. This feature does not appear on the 2 Column pages.
- Normal hyperlinks – those with a more traditional underline will allow you to jump to content either on the same page or at another point in the report.
- Related links – these show you information that is relevant to the page that you are looking at. These may be elsewhere in the report or on an external website.
Notes
If you would like to make notes about the content of the report, please click on the Notes tab, or on the thin column to the right of the text. Clicking in the notes column, or to the right of the text, will bring the Notes box up on the screen. Type your note and click ‘Done’, and it will save for you next to the relevant content. Notes can then be edited or deleted. Notes are only available on 2 Column pages.
Your notes are saved and can be accessed each time you visit the report from the same computer. Please be aware that these notes are saved using cookies. Deleting cookies from your computer will, therefore, also delete your notes. However, when you print out your pages, any notes you have made will also print out at the bottom of that web page, and referenced as appropriate in the text.
Bookmarks
To add a bookmark click on ‘Bookmark this page’ in the top right corner of each page. You can view all your bookmarks at any time by clicking on the ‘View bookmarks’ link directly below ‘Bookmark this page’. In the three column layout, this will open the third tab on the right hand column, while the two column layout will open a new window with exactly the same information and links in it. You can also print all your bookmarks at once by clicking on ‘Print bookmarks’ at the bottom of the Bookmarks list either in the right hand column or on the bookmarks page.
Your bookmarks are saved and can be accessed each time you visit the report from the same computer. Please be aware that these bookmarks are saved using cookies. Deleting cookies from your computer will, therefore, also delete your bookmarks.
Downloads
You can download PDF versions of either the whole site, or sections of the site from the Downloads centre, accessed by clicking on ‘Downloads’ in the top right hand corner of the page. From here you can also download Excel spreadsheets of the key financial statements.
Interactive CEO’s Q&A
We have provided video clips of the CEO answering a range of questions about the Company. Click on the question you are interested in to see her response. Transcripts of the answers are also provided and some of the answers will also show relevant chart information.
To view this content as an interactive feature you will need to have Javascript enabled.
Search
The search function is more advanced than many online reports. It will highlight the relevant word/phrases alongside the content you are viewing and provide a link to the relevant content. You can then jump to the content and retain the search facility on the same screen. It will also search for terms on the site similar to the word you have typed in.
